Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Inc.

It is said that "it takes a village", and the following people generously support our equestrian center
through their various fields of service and expertise.
We would like you to meet a few of the amazing people we work with throughout the year
who help make it all happen:

Arader Tree Service, Inc, West Conshohocken, PA

"Horses and People our Speciality"... not trees! But thanks to Chris Arader and his crew all our trees are kept up... limbs trimmed and bugs sprayed! Drive down our "cherry tree lane" in the spring next year to enjoy his work.

Rod Johnson and Horse Tech, Laurens, PA

Rod and his team at Horse tech mix up a custom supplement just for Thorncroft’s horses. This secret "Thorncroft Blend" arrives 144 lbs. at a time. Thanks for keeping our stable of 40 horses healthy and happy!

Steve Fanelli and Fence Works, Chadds Ford, PA

Steve has been attending to our fencing needs for – years. And with 70 acres and 40 horses,
you imagine what a big job it is!

Rick Wills and Rick's Heritage, West Chester, PA

Rick’s Heritage takes care of every supply need, from tack, to fly spray, to bell boots: it’s one stop shopping at Heritage!

Complete Equine Health Service, Coatesville, PA

Our veterinarian service of 6 years knows our horses inside and out, and is familiar with the conditions that typically plague older horses such as ours. We feel secure in the fact that our horses are in the care of such good and capable hands, 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Rick Clark, Farrier Service, Kirkwood, PA

In any kind of weather, 6 days a week Rick does the seemingly impossible.... keeping 160 feet healthy and shod. Ponies that have foundered, older horses with navicular... and sometimes just a plain shoe... Rick is the best.

Shelly Shultis, Artist, Westtown, PA

A hardworking Thorncroft instructor of many years, Shelly is also an accomplished and versatile artist. Her work can be seen showcased in the original Pennsylvania Railroad station in Westtown.

Horses and Humans Research Foundation, Chagrin Falls, Ohio

HHRF exists to facilitate universal understanding and appreciation of the significant influence of horses on humans.
The primary goal is to support, promote and fund scientific research that explores the claimed, yet unsubstantiated benefits of equine assisted activities and therapies, leading to the discovery of the most effective methods and techniques for conducting thousands of existing and future programs.
The secondary goal is to educate the public (including parents, donors, insurance companies and physicians) on research findings so that equine assisted activities become more accessible to those in need.

Love is the most irresistible power in the universe. Caring is it's very implementation...
That's what healing is all about.
