March 12- May 21: Special Olympics
Riders of all ages and abilities from Delaware and Chester Counties train every
Wednesday evening for 10 weeks in order to prepare for qualifying games at the
end of May. Winners advance to the State Games held at Penn State.

March 28-30, May 1-4: Centered Riding Clinic with world renowned Susan Harris
Students are offered 2 tracks... update your current Level I or join us for this 2 part
series and become a Level I Certified Centered Riding Instructor.

April 14-May 22: Timothy School
Our friends from the Timothy School of Berwyn come Monday and Thursday
mornings for 6 weeks to ride, play games, and enjoy the great spring weather here
at the farm

May 18: “Healing Touch for Animals”
The Komitor Healing Method, Inc. Is a highly effective energy-medicine program...
explore therapeutic touch and energy with horses.

May 24: The 29th Annual Handicapped Riders Division of the Devon Horse Show
Riders from all over the mid Atlantic states compete in equitation, dressage and trail
classes. Winners advance to the Dixon Oval at the horseshow grounds for
championship classes on Sunday.

June 22: Lane Holistic Institute
Irene Lane presents a one day clinic “Enhancing non verbal communications
between horse and rider. Recognize the four specific domains in which to
communicate.”

June 23-July 18: Bournelyf Summer Camp
Campers with special needs join us from their Camp in West Chester to develop
their horsemanship skills.

June 23-August 8: “T Camp”
Students within the Autism Spectrum from Elwyn come for an extension of their
summer programs.

June 30-August 15: TEC Summer Camp
Riders of all abilities sign up for a week of “fun on the Farm”.... where horsemanship,
arts & crafts and swimming all add up to plenty of essay material for “What I did
on my summer vacation”.

July 13: Marlis Amato Presents “Equus as a Second Language”
the foundation of “Mirroring Equine Attitude”
. Learn how to watch your horse
and learn what he is saying. Form a firm, respectful mutually beneficial partnership.

August 23: NARHA Workshop
If you are interested in becoming a North American Riding for the Handicapped
Association Certified Instructor... this is the Workshop for you!

September 12 -14: Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance
Where 100 of the best cars in the world will be show cased at one of the oldest
hunt clubs in the country. Join us for three glorious days. Proceeds to benefit
Willistown Conservation Trust and Thorncroft.

September 20: Willistown Friends Meeting Environmental Stewardship Festival
Held at 7069 Goshen Road in Newtown Square... Learn what you can do to go
green while benefiting Thorncroft on our area’s very own Earth Day!

September 23-28: The 34th Annual Presentation of Dressage at Devon
DAD has become a true fall tradition! With breed and performance classes,
unique shopping and fine food - this is the perfect kick off to the fall season!
Proceeds from the 6 day show will benefit the programs at Thorncroft.

October 5: Maire’s Fall Horse Show This is a low key competition…
perfect for riders with special needs to try their first horse show.

October ‘08 - May ‘09: The Thorncroft Instructors Course
the foundation for an innovative course in therapeutic horseback riding,
Saunders Dixon will be joined by Thorncroft instructor Meghan Lyons.
Choose between the Certificate of Completion or the Certificate to Teach.

November 1: Hopeful Hunters Show Series at TEC
DATE CHANGE: A top notch hunter show offering classes on the flat and over
fences for all levels... Hunter, Horsemanship, Lead line, Pleasure, Beginner, Low
and Slow, Short Stirrup. Awesome Awards Program
