When traveling from:
North and East PA
- PA Turnpike to Valley Forge Exit (#24)
- South on Rt. 202
- 252 South to Paoli
- Right on Rt. 30
- At 4th traffic light (Matthews Ford Agency) bear left onto Paoli Pike
- Paoli Pike - Go 3 1/2 miles to Line Road (just past Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital and the first crossroads after the fourth traffic light)
- Line Road - Turn Left and go 1 mile to 1st intersection.
- Thorncroft is on the far right corner of the intersection of Line and Boot roads.
West PA
- PA Turnpike to Downingtown Exit (#23)
- South on Rt. 100 to 202 South
- Paoli Pike Exit - Turn Left (away from West Chester)
- Go 3 1/2 miles (cross over Rt. 352) to Line Road
- Turn Right on Line road. (If you pass Bryn Mawr Rehab on your right or reach the next traffic light after 352, you have gone too far.)
- Go 1 mile to 1st intersection. Thorncroft is on the far right corner at the intersection of Line and Boot roads.
South(Wilmington, Baltimore or Washington)
- Rt. 95 or Rt. 1 to Rt. 202 North
- Paoli Pike Exit - Turn Left (away from West Chester)
- Go 3 1/2 miles (cross over Rt. 352) to Line Road -
- Turn Right on Line road. (If you pass Bryn Mawr Rehab on your right or reach the next traffic light after 352, you have gone too far.)
- Go 1 mile to 1st intersection. Thorncroft is on the far right corner at the intersection of Line and Boot roads.

Founded in 1969
Thorncroft welcomes students of all ages. Our 70 acre farm, now under an open space easement, is open and here to enjoy. Private and group lessons are individually geared towards the ability and goals of the rider. Horsemanship is taught on the flat and over fences in either of our 2 indoor arenas, the outdoor arena or cross country course; trails around the Farm are available for riders to enjoy the surrounding countryside.
Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: closed
Our mission is to develop the physical and emotional well-being of all people including those with special needs. We are committed to personal growth and education in an equestrian environment of respect and love.
